How Dense is it?

Today during block we will explore what density is. How do you calculate density?

Remember the triangle? Well, the triangle works for Density equations also.D= Density M=Mass V=Volume

Example: If a bar of gold has a mass of 38 g and a density of 19 g/cm3, what is the volume of the bar of gold?

Equation: Volume = mass/density

Volume = 38 g = 2 cm3

19g/cm3
